Dear Friends, we would like to introduce our church to you,
Faith Baptist Church has been having regular weekly services in Hobart since 1978. We are Christians who believe that the Bible is the basis for our beliefs, lives, conduct and practices. Our purpose is to preach and teach the Bible, nothing more, nothing less.
Our worship times are reverent but joyous. Adults and children worship together in a family atmosphere. We sing hymns and choruses with the opportunity for testimonies. During our worship, time is also given to the public reading of Scripture. Central to all this is the faithful preaching of Scripture. You would notice genuine love and affection, a true Christian fellowship in our midst.
If you are looking for a faithful church do come and see for yourself. You are also welcome to join us for a cuppa and some light lunch immediately following the worship service. You are welcome to bring some food to share but do not feel compelled for we always have enough for visitors.
